TRIUMPH IN GOA: 5TH INTERNATIONAL DENTAL LAB EXPO & CONFERENCE-2023 CONCLUDES WITH RESOUNDING SUCCESS

The 5^th International Dental Lab Expo and Conference, which was organized by 'Ivory Exhibitions and Conferences,' concluded on a successful note in Goa. Building on the previous success of the ^4th event in Noida, this conference aimed to elevate the dental laboratory segment, which forms a crucial part of Indian Dentistry but often goes unnoticed. The event featured over 50 companies from India and abroad, showcasing the latest equipment and products in dental prosthetics, dental laboratory, 3D printing and scanning, CAD-CAM, milling, and dental implantology. The exhibition attracted around 1000 visitors, including dentists and dental technicians from all over India and neighboring countries like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and the Middle East.

The organizing committee, led by Dr. ManeshLahori(President Elect-IPS)as the Organizing Chairman, Dr. Shiva Shankar M. as the Conference Chairman, Dr. HasanSarfaraz as the Conference Secretary, Dr. Sunil Dhaded as the Scientific Chairman, Dr. Meena Aras as the Scientific Co-Chairman, and Mr. Manzar Naqvi as the Organizing Secretary, arranged two days of sessions featuring renowned speakers in the dental laboratory field. The conference was inaugurated on 29^th April by Dr. Meena Aras, the Head of the Department of Prosthodontics at Goa Dental College & Hospital, accompanied byentire organizing committee,Mr. NarendraAsgaonkar, a senior most certified dental technician from Goa, and Mr. N.K. Patel, a senior industry expert.

The event received significant support from various dental technicians and dental laboratory associations from more than seven states in India. Notable speakers, including CDT Julian Russ from VHF Germany, Unicorn Denmart, CDT Rahul Kakodkar, Chairman of Precision Dental Studio Ltd., Thane, Mumbai, CDT M.K Shrikanth from Bredent India Group, CDT Shivesh Thakur from GC India, Dr. Shiva Shankar M. from Bangalore, Dr. DattaBhajibhakare from Nasik, CDT Balbir Singh from Chandigarh, and CDT Rahul Rajput from Faridabad, shared their knowledge with over 200 delegates during the two-day event. The next event, the 6^th International Dental Lab Expo & Conference, is scheduled to take place in Lucknow on 28^th- 29^th October 2023.
